Because you have a residence permit for a certain period of time, you can get a refugee passport. Just like a normal passport, this is valid in all countries except your country of origin. It is valid for a maximum of 5 years or depending on your length of stay. After the application, the passport must be collected within 3 months. This may only be done by the person who requested it.

If you have a low income, you can ask the municipality whether you may be waived for municipal taxes. Do this together with your contact person at refugee work or make an appointment yourself with the municipality. To apply for a waiver, you must request a form from the municipality. When you move to your municipality, you can report this online on the municipality's website. You can do this up to 5 days after the actual move. If you move to another municipality or you are coming from another municipality today, you can also arrange this online.
