ANIMATION VIDEO FOR CITIES
The new Civic Integration Act came into effect on January 1, 2022. Municipalities will play an important role in guiding newcomers in the Netherlands who are subject to an integration obligation.
An animation video has been developed to support municipalities in communicating with the person integrating. It shows which steps a person integrating goes through in the Civic Integration Act 2021. The video is intended for client managers and other professionals who work with integrators.
The video answers questions such as:
- What is the integration candidate working towards in the next three years? What steps does the process consist of? What can the integrator expect? And with which authorities does the person integrating have contact?
The video is also available in English, Spanish, Farsi, Tigrinya, Somali, Arabic, Dari and Pashto (voice over and subtitles).
This animation was made by Baretta Media on behalf of Divosa. Together with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, Divosa, VNG and the Education Executive Agency (DUO) support municipalities in the preparations and implementation of the new integration system.
